Splitting Divisions

Some tournaments in sports like martial arts have hundreds of potential divisions. This leads to many divisions getting no entries and others with one or two. Splitting larger divisions into smaller ones is a quick and easy way to manage this. Create broader division categories to enter and then split the divisions after the registration is closed.

To begin splitting divisions, view listings of tournament brackets. First create a new division for the participants to assigned to. Next, click on the Assign New Div icon next to the specific division that you want to split. Select a created division from the drop down to move the selected players into.

Check or uncheck the boxes next to the participant to add / remove them from the selected created division. Click the links highlighted in blue to reorder. Order by seed, name, age and gender. Belt will be available for martial arts along with weight if the options are selected to use belt and weight in the setup.
